Hi, I’m Pratik.
I build software, spend a fair amount of time figuring out why things broke, and occasionally point a camera at something that makes me pause.
I’m Associate Vice President of Technology at Argusoft, where my work spans software architecture, engineering teams, and cybersecurity. I enjoy getting into the details: how a system fits together, what the logs are actually saying, and whether something that looks good on a diagram holds up in practice. Lately, that curiosity has also taken me into AI-assisted development and finding useful ways to bring it into everyday engineering.
Away from the screen, I enjoy photography, cycling, and putting the occasional thought into words or a sketch. Sometimes a photograph becomes a story. Sometimes a thought becomes a poem. Quite a few remain unfinished. I’m learning to be okay with that.
Pratik’s Localhost is where some of these things find a home. You’ll find technical experiments, security investigations, photographs, and thoughts that stayed around long enough to be written down. Writing helps me make sense of what I’m learning—and gives my overthinking somewhere to go.
